Years have passed since digital transformation began in clinical research. Advances in science and technology, as well as the discovery of new therapeutic agents and developments in statistical methods, have brought great benefits to patients and clinical research staff. But with these advances come new challenges for contemplation.

This lecture will provide an overview of two new concepts introduced to clinical research in recent years: decentralized clinical trials and the application of generative AI.
