The Ministry of the Environment's notification, "Standards for the Care and Storage of Laboratory Animals and Alleviation of Pain," calls for ensuring the safety not only of laboratory animals, but also of humans (researchers, engineers, breeders). We will explain specific measures for occupational safety and health, including troubles and near-miss cases, regarding safety assurance and safety management related to animal experiments, laboratory animals, facilities, etc.
