Triple anesthetics, which are balanced anesthetics, are widely used, mainly in rodents. It has a wide safety margin and is very easy to use, but it is necessary to understand its characteristics when using it in animal experiments. We review the properties of triple anesthetics and illustrate their impact on experimental data with specific examples.
