What is ATLAS?

ATLAS / National Cancer Center

ATLAS (Asian Clinical Trials Network for Cancers) is the international project which has been launched by the National Cancer Center Hospital Japan in 2020, funded by Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development(AMED).
The purpose of the ATLAS project is to establish a network for cancer clinical trials connecting ASEAN states, to generate high-quality clinical trial data for pharmaceutical approval, driving collaborative cancer drug development through both industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials.
The project will improve oncology drug access in Asia, where available drugs are limited. Together with the firm establishment of cancer genomic medicine, drug development in collaboration across Asia will be promoted, thereby addressing Asia’s needs.
E-learning program provided in this ICRweb is one of the ATLAS project activities to build capacity for conducting high-quality clinical trials and to realize genomic medicine, for all clinical trial professionals around the world.
